The treatment area of the Foot ColdCure^® Wrap is specially designed to target the bottom of your foot and back of your heel. The unique design of the Foot gel packs ensures the best treatment and coverage possible. The gel packs run the full length of your plantar and up the back of the heel slightly, to ensure coverage of the entire affected area.

Our most recent gel development is called XC RigiGel^®, which is a further improvement on our RigiGel^® technology. XC RigiGel^® ensures that there are no hot spots in your gel pack. It moves the cold power from the cool spots to the warm spots, so you always get an even, consistent cold treatment. This temperature-balancing feature can only be found in a ColdCure^® Wrap from King Brand^®.

The quality of our wraps is reflected in the comfort. They are made of soft, flexible neoprene that conforms perfectly to your body. The Velcro^® straps allow you to adjust the wrap and find the right fit for your foot. The Foot Wrap is made of 100% biocompatible materials. Since this is a medical device, the materials must meet very high standards of quality and safety. These materials are actually safer than those used for most baby products, including toys, clothing and diapers.

The ColdCure^® Foot wrap has been designed as a one-size-fits-all wrap, using neoprene and Velcro to wrap around your foot. The maximum circumference that the wrap will fit is 13 inches. The treatment area from the heel down the bottom of your foot is 8 inches.

Does the ColdCure^® Plug In? No. Your ColdCure^® gels will be left in your fridge or freezer in between treatments. Most of our customers use their gel packs out of the freezer, but if you find the gel packs are too cold for your treatments, you can charge your ColdCure gel packs in the fridge.

How Long Will It Take To Heal? The key to success with your treatments is consistency. Healing times vary from person to person as there are so many different factors that will determine how long it takes someone to fully heal. Age, severity of injury, health and your consistency using your ColdCure^® are all major factors that will determine how long it will take for you to heal. By using King Brand^® products, you will heal faster than without it.

Do I Cut the Plastic? No. There is a hard plastic casing on the outside of each gel pack. Do not cut this off.

My Pain Increases Through The Day. Why? If you're active through the day, you could be experiencing an increase in inflammation. Most of the time, pain from the inflammation will increase slowly. If you notice your pain level increasing, you should stop what you're doing, and apply a ColdCure^® treatment. Within a few minutes, you should start noticing your pain levels decreasing. Continue applying your ColdCure^® any time you have an increase in pain, or if you have been more active than usual.

My Gel Pack is Too Stiff! Sometimes the temperature of your freezer can be low enough that it will make your gel pack stiff. If you find that your gel is stiff, leave it on the counter for a few minutes. It will very quickly become pliable, so you can start your treatments at an optimal cold temperature.

A very important part of treating your foot injury is to use the ColdCure^® Foot Wrap to help reduce not only the visible swelling you may see on the surface, but also the inflammation you may have and cannot see, deep down in the soft tissue. You can use it as much as you need through the day. Use it anytime you want pain relief and after any significant exercise of your foot even if it doesn't hurt afterward.

You should rely more heavily on ColdCure^® treatments immediately after exercise because the inflammation will continue to re-develop when you are active. Being aggressive with back to back cold treatments after exercise will give your body a chance to get ahead of the inflammation, and prepare your foot for the blood flow that's needed to help heal quickly.
